A shiny set of wheels will set off your restored paintwork a treat. Clean them with a specialist alloy wheel cleaner then polish them. To tackle chips on alloys, only repair them after you've cleaned them.

On clean, dry wheels, sand the affected area of clear coat with fine wet and dry sand paper and then dry it.
Take a fine artist’s brush and apply the clear coat. It's best to paint on several thin coats rather than one thick to help it blend into the surrounding area.
