Colour restorers give dull paintwork a boost by taking off a layer of paint. Choose the right restorer for your paintwork – metallic, pearlescent, coloured. It's a good idea to try some on a small, area before you get started on a large one. Don't be over enthusiastic when you start, rubbing gently means you'll avoid rubbing off too much paint. Have some soft cotton cloths handy as you'll need to change them when they get too much paint on them. Polish the car when you've finished.
