First of all, see if anything is missing then see what damage has been caused. Call the police then your insurance company and let them know the following:

1. Your name and address
2. The car's registration number, make and colour
3. Where you left your car
4. When you last left your car and the time of your return
5. What the damage is and if there was anything valuable or important stolen
